Emily Witzel

Emily grew up in upstate New York prior to moving to Elon, NC. She attended Appalachian State University for almost two years and is now pursuing a Veterinary Technician online degree.

During childhood, Emily saw herself in sports medicine, which is what she attended ASU for. Her love for animals intertwined with her passion for medicine; she realized she had to incorporate the care of animals in her career. She is also a part of the Humane Society of Wilkes.

Pet nail trims are the easiest thing ever for Emily-- some would say it's her specialty! She often wears different hats and can be seen helping her teams in reception, technicians, and kennels.

When not at the hospital, Emily enjoys being a homebody and hanging out with her six dogs, two cats, and fiancé. They love to travel and watch movies, as well as go to the park or river.

I am part of the Humane Society of Wilkes
